Games Design and Development at the NFTS: Games with Meaning and Consequence

Recently at the London Unity User Group I met Jon Weinbren who runs their ground-breaking MA in Games Design and Development at the National Film and Television School (NFTS). What makes the NFTS course so innovative is the ability to combine expertise from the games industry with those from the film world. In this way students gain a more rounded skill set in game play, character creation, storytelling, graphic design, animation and sound. This enables them to produce richer game experiences with meaning and consequence for the player. The output from the course is fantastic and includes some great projects using Oculus Rift.
